As I stated last Sunday, today I will get into why I started blogging. To many, blogging is a dying industry. Not because people aren’t interested in content, but new content is more visual than verbal. Social Media apps like Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok are on the forefront of these mediums. I do love Instagram and hope to be courageous enough one day to post silly videos of myself on TikTok.

For the time being, traditional blogging is where I am most comfortable. I have always been the shy gal with very confident and outgoing best friends. I envied then for their confidence and connection to other people. I had friends, but because of my innate shyness, I felt I had very few close friends. Sometimes I felt I didn’t have any. As I grew older, I started gaining self confidence and through my relationship with my husband, opening up my fears and beliefs with confidence.

I still have a ways to go, but I do hope that this blog will be another step for me in this process. I do want to connect with others and develop meaningful friendships with different people are the country and world. I hope you will follow me along in this journey!
